Lauren graduated from the University of Cape Town with her Bachelor of Architecture in 2019. She spent her first year at UCT studying French and Art History and at the end of that year decided to follow her initial instincts and switched to Architecture.

Lauren is fascinated by the influence of space and place on people, and the many ways in which design can enhance our everyday experience. She enjoys taking on challenges and always expanding her knowledge of design.

She joined KAA in January 2020 as a graduate, with the aim of continuing her learning in a practical environment complemented by the extensive and varied experience of the KAA team. She went to school in Cape Town and loves the city but hopes to travel overseas before (or while) she furthers her studies. In her spare time, you’ll find her running, tending her indoor jungle, or cooking with friends and family.
