Shortlisted for a World Architecture Award (2011), this project reflects our devotion to architecture that elevates spaces. Its compact size, measuring only 65 square meters, presented our team with a tough challenge: To create a spacious, comfortable, and cutting-edge pied-à-terre for our customer, a London-based collector. Rising to the challenge, the team delivered a carefully crafted space where every inch was considered and maximised. The lower levels of the house seamlessly blend with the historic De Waterkant streetscape, while the additional floor and roof deck boldly embrace a complementary modernist aesthetic. Pristine white walls, glass, and stainless steel harmonize with grey natural granite tiles, oak flooring, and exposed concrete, creating a bold and urbane residence.
